What it is
FBR Sync connects QuickBooks and Odoo to Pakistan's FBR Digital Invoicing system — every sale filed within the 24-hour deadline, with the IRN and QR code written back to the accounting system automatically.
The problem
Pakistan now requires registered businesses to report every sales invoice to FBR's Digital Invoicing system and print the returned IRN and QR code on the customer's invoice — within 24 hours of the sale, even if the connection was down at the time. Going live also means passing a set of sandbox certification scenarios first.
Businesses already keep their invoices in QuickBooks or Odoo. They don't want to build and maintain the FBR integration themselves.
What we built
The bridge. Invoices sync from the accounting system automatically. A team completes the FBR-specific fields once, in a clean panel, with customer and product registries filling in the rest. FBR Sync then submits each invoice — with automatic retries, a stable submission key so a network failure never causes a double filing, and an offline queue that escalates as the 24-hour deadline approaches. The IRN and QR come back, print on a branded PDF, and write back to QuickBooks or Odoo.
A guided runner walks a business through every sandbox scenario FBR assigned it and stores the evidence, so certification and go-live are part of the product rather than a separate project.
How it works
- Connect. Link QuickBooks or Odoo — or use the API or a CSV / Excel import.
- Review. Invoices arrive as drafts; your team completes the FBR fields once.
- File. FBR Sync submits each invoice, stores the IRN and QR, and writes it back.
Who it's for
Finance teams already on QuickBooks Online or Odoo, and the accounting and tax firms that file for many client companies — who get one login, every client company, and per-company roles.
What's inside
- Automatic invoice sync from QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop and Odoo
- Reliable submission with auto-retry, clear rejection reasons and no double-filing
- An offline queue with deadline escalation built around the 24-hour mandate
- A guided sandbox-certification runner that resumes after interruptions
- Bulk CSV / Excel upload with validation and re-runnable failed rows
- IRN and QR write-back, branded PDF invoices, and delivery by email or WhatsApp
- One dashboard for every client company, with per-company roles
- A 10-year audit trail of every edit and every submission attempt
- Compliance analytics and a filing-ready export
Outcome
Businesses stay compliant without re-keying invoices into a government portal or racing a deadline. Firms get a single view of filing health across every client they manage.
